To Be Zion

We wrote and developed the film component of Jordan’s global Zion campaign to launch NBA superstar Zion Williamson’s first signature Jordan shoe — the Zion 1s. In the words of music mogul and our voice-over talent DJ Khaled, we also “like dat”.

Nike
Runners Helping Runners

With running on the decline worldwide, we helped Nike bring the joy back by launching the ‘Runners Helping Runners’ initiative across Asia Pacific and Latin America - a series of celebratory localized events to inspire (and perspire) runners.

We armed markets with localized toolkits of activation campaigns, social engagement strategy, roll-out plans, retail partnership materials and all accompanying assets, across social, merch design, animation, film, OOH and POS.

We also designed a RHR logo (spinning below) currently being rolled out globally. A small sample of the work is below, with the case study to follow this fall (after all the events go live).

Light Work

We helped launch the Air Jordan 36; one of the lightest, fastest Air Jordan’s yet - helping pro-ballers Jayson Tatum & Satou Sabally make light work of the opposition. Cameos by Regan Aliyah, Halal Wrist, Kyle Silos, and Tatum’s little dude, Deuce.

Behind The Design

Jordan Brand asked if we could revamp their Behind The Design content series. ‘Yes, yes we can’ we said. ‘Great’ they replied. Then some meetings and doodling storyboard stuff happened, and the results were a tool kit of social assets. Including these eye-pleasers featuring NBA shooting coach Chris Matthews and legendary shoe designer Tate Kuerbis. Concepted, written and directed by the good ship ghostpistols.

Westbrook Why Not?

To launch Russell Westbrook’s Why Not 0.5’s, we built a campaign around, you guessed it — ‘Why Not?’. The shoe’s name, and Russ’ foundation whose mission is to ‘inspire the lives of children, empower them to ask ‘Why Not?’, and teach them to never give up’.

We concepted, and directed this journey into the mind of 10 year old Ziggy, as he wonders whether he could grow up to play like Westbrook. Spoiler, Russ says ‘why not?’.
